WSTA is pleased to continue the Annual State Roadeo for our members. This year's Roadeo will be hosted by C-TRAN on August 12 & 13.  A big thank you to all those at  C-TRAN for graciously hosting this year's event. 

The Roadeo Steering Committee has been meeting since the beginning of the year to plan for this event. We encourage you to work with your Committee Representative to understand the details. However, if you do not have one, you are welcome to reach out to us at WSTA. 

Please read the website for all applicable information related to registration for the competition, your lodging options, bbq luncheon, and the State Roadeo Awards Banquet as some information may have changed.

Roadeo Judge Volunteers Needed

The Roadeo takes many volunteers; from our Host Agency to the Steering Committee the event relies on people like you to help. If you have been a judge or are interested in judging on Sunday, August 13 in the morning please sign up.  Please review the Agenda for the event times you will need to be available on August 13th.

Registration & Scholarships

Registration is now open for Maintenance Team and BOC, 35' and 40' Operator Competition. If cost is a challenge, please see the Scholarship information below. 
   
Registration Rate:
     $250 - Operator Registration
     $650 - Maintenance Team

NEW PROCESS PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: Competition Registration ONLY will include Roadeo Banquet entry. If you are not a competitor you must buy a ticket for $45.00 before July 7 or fees may increase. The Roadeo banquet ticket will now be a product available on your conference registration form, even if you are not attending the full conference you will need to fill out to the form to select the Roadeo Banquet ticket.
 Any tickets after July 21 must be purchased on-site for $60.

**Active Committee Members who will be onsite preparing and staffing the Roadeo course, please reach out to WSTA Staff for a discount code.

Scholarships are available for WSTA Members and Transit Associate Members. The primary goal of this scholarship program is to provide financial assistance to those agencies that need assistance due to budget constraints. Thank you to the Washington State Transit Insurance Pool (WSTIP) for their contribution to fund this program.

This year's events will be at the Hilton Vancouver in Downtown Vancouver, WA. Downtown Vancouver is walkable, with many restaurants and shopping within blocks of the hotel. The Hilton is also a few blocks from the revamped waterfront along the Columbia River. CLICK HERE to visit the "Visit Vancouver" page for local sights and activities. 

WSTA has set up room blocks at the Hilton Vancouver, the entire conference site. Further, overflow room blocks have been established at the AC Hotel by Marriot and Hotel Indigo. Both hotels are a 5-10 minute walk from the Conference Site. A shuttle between the conference site and the two overflow hotels will not be provided. 

All three hotels have limited room blocks at the government per-diem rate. Once complete, attendees may have to pay a higher rate or find a different location.

Getting there: 

The Hilton Vancouver is located 14 minutes/11 Miles from the Portland International Airport. Please note that the hotel does not have a shuttle however, Hilton Vancouver is located along I-5 and Hwy 14, less than a mile from the Amtrak Station. If you are flying into Portland International Airport, it is a short 20-minute ride.
