WSTA is pleased to continue the Annual State Roadeo for our members. This year's Roadeo will be hosted by King County Metro on August 16-17.  A big thank you to all those at King County Metro for graciously hosting this year's event. 

The Roadeo Steering Committee has been meeting since the beginning of the year to plan for this event. We encourage you to work with your Committee Representative to understand the details. However, if you do not have one, you are welcome to reach out to us at WSTA. 

Please read the website for all applicable information related to registration for the competition, your lodging options, bbq luncheon, and the State Roadeo Awards Banquet as some information may have changed.

Roadeo Judge Volunteers Needed

The Roadeo takes many volunteers; from our Host Agency to the Steering Committee the event relies on people like you to help. If you have been a judge or are interested in judging on Sunday, August 17th in the morning please sign up.  Please review the Agenda for the event times you will need to be available on August 17th.

Operator Registration - $300
Maintenance Team - $750
Roadeo Banquet Ticket - $50

Roadeo Banquet Details - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

• Competition Registration ONLY will include Roadeo Banquet entry.
• If you are not a competitor you must buy a ticket separately.
• As a reminder, the Roadeo Banquet is NOT part of your Conference registration. 

Any tickets on or after August 7th must contact WSTA for availability. If available the cost will be $75

**Active Committee Members who will be onsite preparing and staffing the Roadeo course, please reach out to WSTA Staff for a discount code.

Scholarships are available for WSTA Members and Transit Associate Members. The primary goal of this scholarship program is to provide financial assistance to those agencies that need assistance due to budget constraints. Thank you to the Washington State Transit Insurance Pool (WSTIP) for their contribution to fund this program.

This year's Roadeo BBQ, Banquet and Conference Events will be held at The DoubleTree by Hilton Seattle Airport. 

WSTA has set up room block at the DoubleTree by Hilton Seattle Airport. A shuttle for between the hotel and Roadeo competition sites will be offered only for competition day on Sunday, August 17th. 

The hotel room block will have rooms at the government per-diem rate. Once room block is full, attendees may have to pay a higher rate or find a different location. Please visit our Conference page or CLICK HERE for more information regarding the Transportation Conference.
