POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the daily operation of the Rideshare and Ridelink programs by assisting existing and future groups and is responsible for coordinating the implementation and growth of the Rideshare and Ridelink programs. This involves researching, recruiting and motivating employers and individuals to participate in the program.
This individual coordinates and performs marketing and outreach efforts to create awareness of the program and to assist employers and participants of Rideshare groups with administration of the program. This position assists in developing and distributing promotional and educational materials, and social media and website awareness campaigns that promote alternative transportation modes.
Principal Planner leads complex transportation planning initiatives, managing capital and service projects while advancing equitable, sustainable transit policies. Works independently to coordinate stakeholders, support decisions, and advise leadership. Applies expertise in planning, policy, and program delivery, ensuring compliance and engagement. Conducts analysis, supports grants, oversees consultants, and represents the agency, delivering clear recommendations on complex, sensitive projects.
The Human Resources Manager supports the Human Resources Director in planning, organizing, and directing the City’s human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, labor relations, benefits administration, classification and compensation, and organizational development. This position also provides oversight of risk management, workplace safety, and payroll administration to ensure compliance, efficiency, and alignment with City goals.

This role provides strategic leadership for all operational and safety functions, directing initiatives that strengthen safety, loss control, and emergency response while reducing accidents and occupational risks.
Oversees accounting and financial functions, performs a variety of professional technical accounting duties and financial recordkeeping functions. This includes preparation of the annual budget, monthly and year end financials, quarterly DOR reports, quarterly grant reimbursements and reports. Provide review of the functions related to payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and other areas of fiscal accounting as assigned.
The Human Resources Manager is a key connector at Lane Transit District, partnering with leaders to address employee relations, investigations, compliance, and workplace programs. Working closely with the Labor Relations Manager, this role helps ensure a consistent HR approach across the District. Over time, the position will also help shape policies, culture, and talent practices that support LTD’s mission.
